Faith Molloy: The True Meaning of Repent

Faith shares about the true meaning of the word 'repent', which can be a very misunderstood and misrepresented word in our Christian vocabulary.

The enemy doesn't want us to see that it is the most positive and freeing thing we can ever do. The essence of the word is 'change' -

• A change of heart, that brings a change of mind, which brings a change of actions/direction. Notice it starts in the heart.
  
• It is the reversal of the choice that Adam and Eve made in the Garden of Eden to live out of their own understanding rather than God’s.
  
• Repentance is a continuous breakthrough - ITS A CHOICE
  
• A choice to change from my way to God’s way. Rom.12:2
  
• From the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, back to the tree of life and relationship with God.
  
• From death to life.
